Why did she have sex with a black man?

Why did she have sex with a black man?

It was symbolic.

Say what?

Because she wanted to have sex with a black man.

Why wouldn't you?

They were running out of budget, please understand.

17 episodes in and even though it had flaws, i sorta finally saw the gist of the plot
But then i watched the 18th episode and i was uuhhhhhh??????!!!??

look up happy white women in google image search

Ep. 18 has nothing to do with overall plot, it focuses solely on Lyuze's feelings.

It pretty crazy to think that in the 00s they could get away with high budget 24 episodes arthouse anime originals like this, and throw in outrageous shit like the heroine having sex with some guy too. Anime as an artform is dead.

>original

Yes, it's effectively an original even if it's loosely based on an old and dusty IP.

Sins has nothing to do with previous Casshern entries. It's an original story with a coat of paint over it.

Ignoring the sex part that episode is still really bad

What did you think of sonny boy?

casshern had big budget? really?

Because NEE IMA DOUSHITE BOKURA UMARETA NO
NEE HORA DOUSHITE BOKURA DEAATTA NO

BRS Dawnfall gave off similar vibes as Sins imo. It isn't as good maybe and it's CGI and only one cour, but at least something. There are some couragous attempts or niche adaptions every season or so, just don't bother with the generic shit and read manga or VNs to fill the time instead.

Rare example of anime artistically uncompromising, but it was also only 12 episodes, with 3 being outsourced and the others of varying quality (for example, the monkeys one was clearly concocted with the intent of animating as little as possible).

I mean, there are anime originals every season, and if you're specifically asking for experimental stuff, both and Wonder Egg are fairly recent, although they weren't 24 eps.

Odd Taxi too. It did whatever it wanted even if it wasn't artsy in the actual sense. And also not artsy and not as good but Vivy is still worth a mention. It was a decent sci-fi action that looked great, even if the ending wasn't as good as most expected.
I see so many people complain and while I relate to their problem they never give any modern series even a chance which means that those very series get less attention and success, which means they will be produced less often. The isekai brigade doesn't complain, they watch their shit and talk about their shit even if there are 8 isekai clones airing in the same season. And that's why they are considered successful.

I think it's unfair to call it a dead medium when they still release originals like sonny boy and ID invaded once in a while. I agree it's pretty sad they don't make them 24 episode long but that's just the industry in general, they're making a lot more anime now than before, they're just shorter. While i do think 24 episodes were a lot better, it's not all bad, back in the 00s i often found myself with absolutely nothing i liked in a season since they lasted longer and there was a lower amount of shows. Usually i can find one or two i like every season nowadays. Basically i find good shows every season now while back then i found amazing shows every other season.

>Wonder Egg
Lmao

You don't think wonder egg is experimental?

Wasn't she supposed to be in love with casshern himself tho ?
