Luffy has a fuckton of hidden knowledge. Nearly every single arc has him discover or experience something first hand that nobody knows anything but rumors about outside of a select few.
He knows about the knockup stream, the white seas, skypeia, fairy vearth, two of the three the ancient weapons, cp9, that the right hand man of Dragon of the Revolutionaries is secretly a celestial dragon, about Zou and the true nature of the minks, about Wano and its history, Noah, the hidden stronghold within Impel Down, and all sorts of secrets and mysteries you won't find in public knowledge
