His anime?

you mean eiko's anime

Didnt watch it, dancing is cringe.

Not as much as I thought I would.
It might sound stupid, but I thought the show would be more about Kongming helping the cast grow as people and their emotional problems. Less shonen esque “I’m gonna be the greatest singer ever!”. Would have been fine as a B plot, but its focus hurt the enjoyability.
Should have been a more emotional show, not the weird strategy oriented and goal achieving centered stuff

>Should have been a more emotional show, not the weird strategy oriented and goal achieving centered stuff
Except the problem is that it stopped doing stratagems outside of the first two and the final episode, which was basically a throwaway. If it was all Kongming doing silly strategies, it would have been great. Instead it was Eiko, Kabe and Nanami's boring shit.

no, i did not

Eh that’s the thing, it was centered around Kabe, Nanami and Eiko achieving their goals.
Like it wasn’t just silly stratagem of the week, but the episodes were all about furthering Eikos goal to become a huge singer.
It was the goal focus that hurt the show. It should have kept the goal stuff in the background, and make it more about Kongming helping the cast grow as people

Don't forget the ad shilling in Any Forums

It was great the first few episodes, probably one of the biggest nosedives in quality I can think of in recent anime, at least the op intro will always make for a nice catchy song to listen to

I know this is a pretty common complaint, but the Kabe and Nanamin episodes really killed the momentum for me. They're side characters who should have each had a single episode focusing on Eiko finding and recruiting/interacting with them, not multi-part story arcs with episodes featuring only them.

You mean Kabe's anime.

I think the basic problem is you can't have just one "everything according to keikaku" character, because then you have to come up with reasons why they don't just solve everything. Or, as this show did, just have them disappear for half the show. You need another similar schemer to balance them (like in Death Note), or they need some kind of innate handicap that means they don't just always inevitably win.

There sure were a lot of animeonlies for this series compared to other anime adaptations discussed on Any Forums.

it was below average. barely about kongming at all, felt like a bait and switch. the OP was excellent though

That's me. Is the manga paced better? Did it have the same problem of having like an entire volume of chapters devoted to Kabe's story?

It would be better if it was about him being the stategist for a shitty street gang and they compete against big organized mobs like the yakuza.

I think it's one I can recommend to casuals. Although I'd have to get past calling it "Ya Boy Kongming!" which I haven't been able to do.

The premise fell apart way to quickly

>-oomer
Kill yourself also learn Japanese instead of relaying in shitty memesubs
>ironic weeb bait
Such as? Music? 3 kingdoms? Explain yourself useless piece of crap.
>forced memes
Again such as? Why are you spouting random crap stupid bastard?
>rotoscoping
Literally false, you should kill yourself waste of oxygen.
