Today is the 1 year anniversary of the CSM PV.
In only 1 week from now we will receive another trailer, this time with voice actors and everything. The hype is almost back.

>CGI is... le tool that can be used in good and bad ways and some of the most praised jap animations have used CGI to enhanced their visuals
My mind... its expanding.
Name some of the most praised jap animations that made the focus point of an action scene, the actual fighter himself, entirely CGI for a prolonged amount of frames. It's one thing to use CGI for backgrounds or to enhance certain effects but this is not what people complain about and you know it.

The CSM PV has none of this, yet people are still complaining.
Denjis entire chainsaw head is obviously CGI for the whole last sequence and it's THE thing that everyone is complaining about. You're starting to gaslight here.
Fuck this CGI abortion. The real CSM fan is hyped for part 2 of the manga starting in like 2 weeks.
When you said prolonged amount of frames I assumed much more than the seconds that we saw. If that's your criteria than Demon Slayer does the same thing from time to time.
If it's immediately noticable because it's in the focus center of several shots then it's definitely not a good thing. If an amateur can tell at a glance that something is "wrong" then that's really, really bad.
Well I think the CGI in Demon Slayer is really distracting too but I can't remember any time that Tanjiro turned into a CGI muppet for several shots up close.
