Everybody loves Germans, go to Iran or Italy as a German and realise how everybody wants to talk to you or tells you some stories about Germans they like and invite you to eat or smoke hookah with them.
Germans are actually quite strange though. Maybe not annoying but cold. Literally every other culture is nicer than us I think and that includes me but I am autistic anyway.

Yeah I know what you mean. A lot of us shut themselves away and barely interact outside, it's astounding how rarely strangers will look at you outside, let alone great you. Everyone is minding their own business, and even though as someone who is introverted it doesn't really bother me, I still can't help but find it sad. Especially if you visit another country where the contrast becomes really stark.

Yeah I am a loner too. Though when I leave my apartment in the evening or at night maybe once every two months I literally only see Italians, Arabs, Turks and Polish people and such chill outside because I guess most of us are, well, like us. The only thing I am proud of is that I am not watching tv. Most people I know literally leave work to watch TV till they fall asleep every day and watch it on weekends from morning till late and that's all they do besides cooking.

From all the western nations, Japan could relate with Germany better because both were unified/reformed almost at the same time (Meiji Restauration was in 1868 and the German Reunification was in 1871), both had a strong militaristic governments, both were authoritarian compared to the liberal nations (England, France and USA). Many Japanese students were sent to Germany and viceversa. Also Germans taught the Japanese the meaning of love. True story
