Akanebanashi

The 19th chapter of Akane's manga comes out soon! She's officially escaping the U19 club! Why don't you congratulate her and her artist Takamasa Moue for finding success?

Is this the power or old men?

おめでとう

>Akane is not U19 anymore

Old and busted!

So far this manga has been boring as shit, carried entirely by Akane's design.

Sincere congratulations to the OleGolazo guy.
Akane is a really good manga and probably my favourite one at the moment in WSJ.

It's not bad

Who?

She is now experienced

>came out already 19 weeks ago, which is almost 5 months
what the fuck

Cool, it's my favorite new series.

>She's officially escaping the U19 club!
So did Mitama, Samurai 8 and Dolphin

The difference is those manga's artists didn't have a U19 as their previous work. Akane's artist's first manga was axed after 12 chapters, which sucks hard. Good to see him bouncing back from that.

You must seize life by the horns.

What would happen if the horns were removed?

This it's actually lowered my interest in rakugo

It would be extremely painful

Your interest in an art you probably didn't know about before reading this manga.

That sure is a great loss. Anyway since it's doing well in volume sales and Jump rankings it'll probably be around for a long while especially considering all the absences in Jump currently. Wonder how long this tournament arc will last.

That painful?

Does Moue still talk about football in the author comments? I know he used to do that with Ole Golazo.

I don't pay much attention to them but he talks a lot about movies and series recently.

Of course the manga wouldn't get U19, the possibility of Akane getting axed has never crossed my mind at all, it's just that good.

I know plenty about it, what I was alluding to was that it does not do its job of exciting you about its subject matter. I knew much less about Karuta but Chihayafuru is excellent, for example.
