Japanese elves are trash, mediocre at best. They are an almost all-female race (and as such, can't be taken seriously, especially when it's almost always the males that do the cool elf stuff), they are routinely thousand years old but simultaneously the least experienced and least skilled member of any fantasy group, they are constantly bested by others that have a fraction of their lifespan, when they are prideful than only to be beaten down, they don't have a grand history or any effect on the world at large, they just live in boring mudhut villages doing nothing of note. They only exist to be added to the almost human male self-insert MC's harem. They don't have any compelling themes, no narrative weight, no grandeur, no variety, and the fact that the only thing you will be able to post as a counter point are "cute" humans with pointy ears just proves what sorry creatures they truly are.
