would I enjoy this show if I got high before watching it?

theres no state you can be in for it to be an enjoyable show.

Yeah the sound design is really nice when you're baked
All that buzzing really scratches a particular itch

Just finished this. I don't understand the hype, it's a solid 7/10 but people act as though it's the most wildly experimental thing this medium has seen since Eva. The bizarre atmosphere wears off after the ninth episode and the last few episodes are boring anticlimactic snorefests. The message isn't even all that insightful, it's just another sci-fi series jabbering on about technological fears.

Do you fear Lain?

I want to fuck her

This series is older than the stuff it shows. It is from a time when the Internet was still on its first steps and people didn’t expect it to explode on what it is today, many even thought it would be just a fad. Serial Experiments Lain predicts how people assume different personalities online and IRL, social media and how people affect the real world through the internet. It have many themes that are now just considered normal everyday things but weren’t at the time it was made.

It's not that I don't understand, it's just that I don't get it.

Where do you get your ideas? MAL or some normalfag aggregator site? Take your gaming rating and your buzzword salad review and shove it up your tourist ass.

>"it's got limitations"

Did these turbo brainlet researchers think these limitations would not be improved upon, that the utterly enormous growth in the past decade that effected tons of markets and fields was just going to evaporate because nothing could be improved even as it was painfully obvious the internet was evolving every year

Only literal retards ever looked at the internet and thought it would be a fad.

What are your thoughts on cryptocoins

Not comparable to the far broader concept of the internet and it's inevitable proliferation

show:
>warns against relying on technology and revolving your life around internet

>it's a solid 7/10
It's a 5/10 at best

Bill Gated did and hate him as much as you want but he isn’t a retard. He did realize he was wrong relatively fast. The thing is that any brainlet can look at the past and laugh at what people got wrong. You might think you are smarter than these guys but you aren’t.

hindsight bias
