I don’t know what will happen but I severely doubt SP will lean too far into either ship or anything, just the typical teasing masked as friendship.

I merely combined their character tropes with unbiased observation and common sense. As realistic as it sounds SP would never dig this deep and confirm BoruSara in a random filler episode. If they do dig into BoruSara/BoruSumi they’ll water it down heavily per their code. Filler ships like Iwabe/Wasabi maybe not but we still likely have to wait until post timeskip for any big developments in newgen ships. It’ll probably be an episode focusing on one character, we just know it’s confirmed to be about romance based on the title. We’ll just have to wait until the summary to figure out what’s up.
Although I guess it is possible they intend to use this episode to shut down the brother line but that’s too big of a gamble
