ITT: Educate newfags on things long-time anime watchers know

"baka" doesn't just mean idiot/stupid.
Let's say there's a situation where a character had to lie to his friends. Later, he says "they're... really baka". The usage of "baka" here still implies intimacy. It's different from just calling them stupid

>people who make comedy skits by themselves where they play all the characters
These are just sad. Also, incredibly awkward.

That still means stupid, just in different tone. Like how you'd say "asshole" to start a fight and when you're joking around with friends.
Should've said that it has another meaning like a "nerd". "Manga baka" means that character knows and thinks a lot about manga to the point that it's like his head is only full of anything related to manga.

OP is a pseudointellectual faggot who thinks they know nip

Long-time viewers might discern that, in several cases, it could indeed be helped.

You lack basic critical thinking skills

I laughed, it was funny. Also this dood popped a nigga ded.

Keikaku means plan

Fuck you, retarded spoonfeeder.

When a character says "dayo", it means he's serious. Hence why everyone hauls ass when someone yells "Nigga run dayo!"

reddit meme

Kisama means you.

sugoi sugoi?

this could've been a good thread if OP didn't fuck up the very first example

The PV is more than enough to tell if you're gonna like an anime or not. There's literally no such thing as "it gets good after x episodes". You'll just waste your time on watching boring shit you don't like because some redditor told you it totally becomes worth watching.

OVA means Original Voice Actors

how long does it take to be able to watch without subtitles and understand like ~80% of the conversation?

after one year immersion training

Nah it gets awkward when they add another guy in it like who the fuck is this. They always try too hard to be funny is ruin the flow people are already used to.

There's always at least one show a season worth your time.
