ITT: The worst pages in manga
Angel Rogers

Common now. That's far from the worst MHA page there is. It's fucking tame compared to so much other shit in the manga.

Protagonists in an action story need some kind of distinct characterization that makes them worthy of being protagonist. Something that really sets them apart from other members in the cast. Goku's good natured love of fighting is beyond all his friends, Tanjirou's most important attribute is his grounded kindness when even the heroes around him are kind of insane, Gon goes to sociopathic lengths to sate his curiosity. Deku is a perfect all loving hero robot who does not resemble anything similar to human behavior but the story will pretend like this really sets him apart from his peers in a way that makes him deserving of being #1.

I know Oda is old and worn out but he's said himself he would like to have more pages per issue due to the scale of the series right now and his desire to finish. Why can't they just give him two more pages every chapter so things can declutter. It's a simple solution.

It plays out allright and has pretty good promise up until the end of the training camp arc. It just kinda shits the bed after that. Bnha illegals/vigilantes is much better.
