Are they seriously not planning to end the show anytime soon?

The manga is heading to the end (whatever that means for this series) but the anime is pretty far behind AND likes to have multiple weeks of filler so no matter how slow the manga is the shows even slower

the show can (and should) continue forever without any manga

How would you end the manga so that the anime can just keep going for eternity with movies every year and all?

In practice, it would just mean the anime would pull an FMA 2003 and arbitrarily go on for 10 years longer than the manga with an original ending, preferrably with Haibara winning

I don't read it but I know some, would the ending involve guy going back to his regular age? if so it would feel weird for the heroine to go back to fucking her boyfriend after knowing him as a little boy for however period of time the manga takes place over

she's practically molesting him every case already

it will last a generation only that is like kochikame,we got really sad when it ended because it was soemthing always present since our childhood until a few years ago.

I always thought Conan started earlier, I was surprised it was 1996. Barely even impressive at this point, both Yugioh and Pokemon started later and have more episodes, and neither of those are in the top 10.
