0% chance. Magia Record is a spinoff that operates in its own canon. Madoka, Homura and co. show up but they're not "our" Madoka and Homura.
The MR anime is a solid 5-6/10. The bad is REALLY bad but there are a few episodes that are genuinely fantastic. As a whole, it's only worth a try if you like Madoka and just really want more Madoka content. You'll probably forget many of the new characters' names constantly because there's so fucking many of them and they're just not memorable.

It gets better later on. Loli Hitler's first major appearance near the end of season 1 is the turning point where things start to get really good IMO.
