I'm enjoying this a lot more than Fate/Stay night and Unlimited Blade Works. Do people that defend the VNs have shit taste?

Retarded adaptation.

I've never played FGO and am used to shit getting adapted out of order so it doesn't bother me.

>Ritsukafag

The release order fucked this anime's reception. As an adaptation though, it was serviceable and very good at times. Unless you're anime-only. Can't imagine stomaching Ritsuka and Mashu or the chaotic plot.

>saying other people have shit taste while liking FGO

>Do people that defend the VNs have shit taste?
Yes
>I'm enjoying this a lot more than Fate/Stay night and Unlimited Blade Works.
The movies adapt out all the shit gacha grindy, so at least it's got that. Imagine if for every 10 minutes of anime plot you were interrupted and had to grind for 4 hours or defending that, which fatefags will prbly do.

You mean like all video games with gameplay?

>""gameplay""
play a real rpg, retard

No
You have shit taste gachatard

I have. It's the same shit.

>Ritsuka the Non-Character goes to threatened world
>meets a lot of colorful characters in DRAMATIC WORLD THREATENING situation
>characters start falling like flies sacrificing themselves and killing each other THIS IS DRAMATIC FEEL SAD AND MOVED AT OUR EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION
>everyone is awed by Ritsuka's generic blandness, I mean bravery and peerless determination to hang back while others fight for him. Yep, these great heroes have never witnesed such courage before in all of their lives
>all is over until next big DRAMATIC STAGE
>oh but wait in the meanwhile everyone you saw die tragically (except the lit who NPCs you'll forget anyway) has been summoned so they can keep simping over you in LE WACKY SHANENIGANS LOL events until the plot feels like being wangsty once more
>wash, rinse, repeat
>over and over
>for literal years

First, third and now fifth have a manga adaptation with Turas i would actually suggest to read more than playing the game, even if art is not that good

It very obviously in so many ways and shapes I've lost count. You may find some superficial similarity as a forced attempt to push this point, like they battle stuff, but when you look closer there are (optional) events to get (non-optional) cards to merge to make S+ cards to make S++ cards to change a percent of your servant's NP or some fuckery like that and I don't know what korean mmo or koolaid someone played to think this is normal.
Assuming you spoke in good faith and played a real rpg for real for 10 minutes, I suggest you play 20 more minutes of it until you can tell the difference, since the difference should be obvious from looking at them. That's my final say on the matter.

>(non-optional) cards
There are no non-optional cards, user.

>10 minutes

I fucking wish, cutscenes gets super fucking long after chapter 5

>had to grind for 4 hours
fgo doesn't really work like that for Main story, all chapters are already unlocked, you only have to fight once to go the next, and those are not farmable. it's basically like any other rpg, I would say TRPG is the closest like disgaea or FFTactics

You unlock farming spots after completing and entire chapter and you honestly don't even have to play them once if you want, since drops are better during events and those are where you are actually farming

pic related a recent chapter. Every arrow used to be a fight, ''no battle'' is just the visual novel aspect

to add to this
there is no real reason to play fgo either, you can read all chapters online anyway or in a youtube video.

Don't worry about Gudao.
By the end he will be turned into a lab rat for MA to understand why he is loved by almost every servants, then FGOfags can cry about it.

Don't bump shit threads, retards.

he said, and the thread was dumped

Sort of, although I think squeaking through a tough battle yourself enhances the experience. Whether it's worth years of your life, well...
