once you realize you shouldn't take it seriously, it becomes really enjoyable. it's not the best, but it's a really good entertainment were you don't need to give much thought. also, that one arthur spread near the end was the best scene

I don't get how it never really caught on in the West when it has all the ingredients that casual shounen shitters lap up any other time. Every time I see comments about it on YT or something, it's people genuinely getting filtered by Tamaki. When did the world get so gay?

not against fanservice in fact i love series with fanservice but enen no shoubotai was so bad that is the first one i dropped (is the truth never dropped anime before but this one almost made me retire thank god i found some good old anime that made me remind why i love anime so much)
this series story and fanservice was so bad not even the introduction of the turbo slut kuro gyaru nun saved the series.

I remember how in the beginning it was controversial due to the whole Kyoto Animation incident and the manga being about literal fires. The mainstream audience doesn't really like to flock to controversial stuff like THAT (when it's about serious incidents)
