Luffy HATES him and has no problems with other yonko.
If Buggy were to make a move, it would probably with support of Shanks/Luffy.

This shit is so powerful and if Blackbeard has knowledge about preexisting fruits like he seems to have, he surely knows about it. it's luffys fruit though so I don't see it as likely.

Another ridiculously broken fruit. Its pretty much a logia thats immune to haki and wont let you die. Marco was treated as a serious contender for Yonko after the paramount war, battled 3 admirals and got the upper hand at points, cucked king and queen at the same time after forcing Big Mom to flee from him because she couldn't do shit to him. He probably has good haki, but it seems like his fruit carries him. Also this fruit would also complement Blackbeard's weaknesses. It allows him to fly and heal which he can't do right now. The only issue with this is, why didn't blackbeard take it after the paramount war. Maybe he ran away or something.

Kaido is out for the count and could be easy pickings now. The fruit lets you fly and shoot out laser beams. Who wouldn't want it.

Blackbeard already has the Yami Yami which will be revealed to be Hito Hito Model: Davy Jones' fruit to act as Luffy's opposite, he literally summons Davy Jones' locker to make the abbyss swallow your devil fruit powers

I think you'd have to look for something that fits with the themes of swallowing evething in darkness and destroying everything with earthquakes
As well as contrasting to luffy in some way

Have him steal Dragon's fruit so Teach controls the abbyss, the quakes and the storms and completely incarnates the dangers of sea

So far, he has gotten all of his fruits from the whitebeard crew, so taking Marco's fruit would fit that theme at least. Also it really fills in all of blackbeards weaknesses and than some. The only things blackbeard can't do is fly and heal. It also negates haki. Not to mention its odd how Oda has reintroduced marco after hundreds of chapters just have him show off his powers and then sneak away. After the battle we haven't seen marco. He probably left already. I may be wrong about some of this, but it just feels like its lining up. Also consuming the world in darkness, destroying the world with earthquakes, rebirth, I'm sure you can find some theme if you are willing to view the quack and darkness fruit as being linked by a theme. I think he is just hunting for the strongest fruits. He claims the darkness fruit is the strongest logia, the quake fruit is the strongest paramecia according to him, and if you were to view any zoan as the best, the phenix fruit wouldn't be a bad choice. And before you say it isn't, you could have said the same shit about the darkness fruit when you compare it to shit like the light and magma fruit. Its subjective to the character.

Maybe. The only things I'd say against it is that the two people he took fruit/powers from were both named after the real blackbeard. Also, if anything blackbeard is abnormally durable already, he just experiences more pain.
The real blackbeard did famously have smoke/flames in his beard though...

He can't take Nika Nika because he'd have to kill Luffy or something. Although it would be fitting since BB laughs so much.
