Kurapika will die before then because of his lifespan nen restriction, but it'll happen long after the scope of the HxH series.

nobody ever said troupe members wouldn't die. togashi just isn't going to spoiler soemthing because somebody asked a question above their paygrade. it's even dumber when people use it as "proof" of kurapika dying.

Gon and Killua already said they'd keep in touch, and if Kurapika survives the Succession War then it wouldn't be unreasonable to think he might work with Leorio on the DC expedition. All we need is for Gon to find some way around his nen restriction, and for either him and Killua to have some reason to go to the DC or for Kurapika and Leorio to make their way back somehow

That's unironically the only good option, i can't imagine having to waste several chapters only for Gon and Killua to even reach the gatekeeper.

togashi's 100% comments came after it had happened though. he has no reason to "surprise" people by sticking to jokes he makes in interviews
