The exorcism types don't seem to be that clearly defined in what they can or can't do. Curses also generally end with the death of their target, and we've seen more than one nen ability that brings people back from the dead given the right conditions. So there could be an exorcist out there that kills you and revives you to clear a curse, and that would clear skill hunter. Fundamentally though if something was done by nen it could probably be undone by nen, even if you aren't trying to exploit resurrection. However, I was just saying the important part was only the removal Neon from the story, how it happened doesn't matter.
