Why are Sunday tankobon so behind? I got volume 11 of Yofukashi no Uta hoping to catch up but it's only up to chapter 109 while the serialization is at chapter 131. There's anther volume in a July but it's still going to reach chapter 119 while the manga has reached 134 at that point.

It's literally spelt out as マンガ in the Japanese text. If anything, this is a mistranslation. Yeah, yeah, I know about the Japanese "genre confusion" but it just bugs me to see a manga being called a comic.
Like, why would any self respecting mangaka ever want to call their manga a comic?
To be honest, this isn't too dissimilar from the "soft seinen/native isekai/single girl harem" discourse.
