The best and most memorable SoL of 2020
the only downside was the boring wageslaving in the second half

It didn't air in 2020.
Beautiful GAY romance sol anime.
It was good because of the second half. Really made the show unique for not ending at HS
Fuuka nails
The second half could have been improved easily by removing half of the terrible boss episodes and focusing more on the new side characters working at Tingarla, or going all the way with the yuri.
Yeah sure is, judging by this thread!
Babymaking missionary position sex with Fuuka
Girls can't impregnate girls, Kukuru!
Fuuka's entire character arc is a Norm MacDonald joke

>it's been almost a year since his death
Fucking hell
It really was a terrible day. I'd say Norm dying was the worst thing to ever happen on a Tuesday in September.
I quit watching when the aquarium closed Because I thought the show ended there. I think I missed half the anime
It's universally agreed that the second half is worse than the first, but if you liked the fish and aquarium autism and don't mind burdersome workplace drama then go and finish it.
They flubbed the ending
Doing a workplace character study doesn't really work if barely any of your heretofore prominent characters get a satisfying arc
Sakura Quest didn't have that problem
The workplace stuff was fine up until Kukuru and Fuuka returned, as them fucking off to an even more remote island to be fishy wives looking after turtle nests would have been a good end note to the "wageslaving will kill your soul then yourself" message that Kukuru's breakdown signified.
Reject wageslaving, embrace yuri.
I know. It reminds me of that tragedy.
What, you mean the one where the terrorists flew the planes into those two buildings and all those people died?
Say what you will about the second half but I was entertained. The only boring episode was the sea slug one. The cosplay episode started off kinda boring but the payoff was fantastic
I still consider Aquatope the best PA Works production in years
It was pretty fucking boring.
