Probably depends. Pochi started as a hentai artist and got picked up for a sfw series and got to do character design work, so it probably isn't the end of the world depending on the kind of work you do.

1. No, they won't be blacklisted. Plenty of authors started off doing porn or even continue to do so after getting "legitimate" work.
2. A lot of authors wouldn't have the time, nor inclination to do that sort of thing. Not everyone wants to draw porn.

That would only depend on what contract someone signed and how interested they are in making it. There are some who have drawn it for manga they work on.

Porn is profitable, but few legit mangaka have the time or inclination to draw smut on the side and have something ready to sell for comiket or digital marketplaces. Nishi Yoshiyuki turned to porn when his latest series got axed, and I guess he was too prideful to take on a pseudonym.
