Second season went off the rails pretty quickly.
I unironically shipped madoka and ran.
It was supposed to be a massive promotion for the prefecture, but IIRC shortly after it started airing there was some sort of scandal or "big news" about the prefecture and so it fell on unfavorable times.

I remember being disappointed by S2 when it aired, but marathoning the whole show in one sitting, it was just as good.
But did they change the ending? I could swear they went their separate ways in the TV version, but in the BD ending the three keep on doing club activities across the galaxy together. How could I hallucinate something so dumb?
