Why are the Z fighters/Goku's friends not involved anymore? That was kind of a fundamental part of Dragon Ball. Even if they weren't fighting it always showed what was going on with some of them. I think that's part of why the manga is so boring.

When did Saiyans LOVING WAKU WAKU start? I figured Goku liked a challenge because he was a martial artist, the same as (Grandpa) Gohan, Tenshinhan, etc. Both Vegeta and Nappa got really angry at the idea of anyone being able to challenge their power, and were surrounded by stronger people but never bothered actually battling them, plus Raditz ran away from WEAKER opponents. When did that retcon happen?
