Nothing. Don't you guys love CG animation? All those super successful Disney moves use it and so do we. Why aren't you happy?

Its out? lmao nobodys even talking about it

That's netflix for you. I hope Bastard will at least get SOME discussion...

I didn't even know it was out

Friendly reminder it was delayed for like half a year because they didn't like the results. This is what they consider "good"

Netflix

Ditto

I feel like there is hint in upper right corner.

quality aside netflix's binge model doesn't suit anime releases imo. netflix and binge streaming sites are past their prime. a free episodic model like abemaTV works way better.

>Netflix show
>bulk episode drop
turns out not having an episodic show kills all discussion and hype for the show.

Watched the 1st episode, liked it. Pretty solid adaptation with some world modernization.

This is one of the best anime movies ever made, surely the anime will live to the expectations right?

Checked

As someone who hasn't seen the old anime: Who does it hold up? Especially when you compare it to the new series.

Think of it like Akira, it covers a small portion of the manga but the production is god tier

Something went wrong?

I won't shill your shitflix + Wigger Brothers + kosherroll productions

Kill yourself.

same

they adapted 7 vols into 6 long OVAS, rare to see an new adaptation of an old manga without being rushed

Well not bad, the manga have episodic stories but the CGI makes some action scenes trash

It's not a full adaptation.
