The only problem with the ending was that it was the end, and it was over after that, and there wasn't anymore.

So they need to fix that part, bring it back under a new author if necessary. What the fuck, give 'em a space arc, a tournament arc, invasion arc, you know, whatever.

The Promised Neverland. It was a steady decline all throughout past the amazing first arc, but the final villain being the most pathetic and easily-defeated of all really seals it.

The manga is about a guy who sees a girl sleeping after class while drooling. After waking her and she leaves, he tastes the drool and notes its sweet flavour (and is then disgusted with himself). He develops and addiction for her drool and after a few chapters they're kind of dating but not really.
Their relationship is sexually charged, but at every turn the girl is not ready for so much as a kiss (still lets him taste her drool though by sucking on her finger then offering it to him). It's pure romantic "development" (filler) with nothing physical. The kiss is teased multiple times but they never do it.
The final arc is like 3 chapters long and seems to be building up to the kiss, and is also very clearly the final arc. Right before they kiss the guy (who has been desperately trying to get the girl to open up) pushes away and insists they don't kiss because he enjoys what they have currently.
The manga ends with their relationship exactly the same as it was in like chapter 5.
