Personally, I find the visuals and soundtracks in the show are one of the best in this season. I'm feeling bad for many people who are missing a real gold mine. You will rarely find a good anime adaptation with enjoyable pacing, likable & memorable characters and some nice fight choreography instead of the usual Powerpoint presentation you would usually get from shitty shounens.
Where the show really shines are the accurate depiction of Fictional Ninjas which both Senran Kaguya and Naruto failed. I felt they were more ninjas than wizards who just yell "jutsu" out loud.

The manga is really comfy and enjoyable. The anime does a good job adding additional scenes to make it even more compelling than before. Mind you it's one of those short panels manga

I geniunely, unironically find this show to be funny and very cute. That it's about young girls is a plus, of course, but I've smiled like an idiot all episode through every episode even if I don't find the featured girl particularly appealing or attractive and my dick lays dormant.
