I got memed into reading the series, it was some weird soap opera shit but generally enjoyable. And then the fucking car shows up and I immediately knew what was going to happen and why everyone was mad. Like it somehow would have been a better ending if the car outright killed her.

I fucking hate it when authors stick to the same characters from the start no matter even when interest in them has massively declined since. There is nothing wrong with starting again and meeting new people, but Japan fucking hates it for some reason.
