Nobody discusses the new Gantz prequel so let's do that. Can anyone tell me what happened in this panel? It looks like the Ashura Statue alien pulled a nothing-personnel-kid on the Hard Suit veteran team but it's awkwardly portrayed

Gantz is that guilty pleasure manga you read when you were a teenager and all you needed was chicks with big tits in latex suits and mindless violence to keep you entertained. It's certainly not a manga that you care to "discuss" or check out the lore of the prequel or sequel or spin-off.

i did a while back but a weekly length chapter that comes out monthly for something as empty and banal as Gantz isn't really worth it

guess i stick with it for the nostalgia then, my brothers and i used to watch the anime as kids. new series is looking good tho so far

gantz is a series you read back then as one of your first gateway to edgy seinen manga, but the more you read, the less you will be engaged in stories like that. plus the art is just not appealing anymore in modern standards

It's really bad. It defines soulless to me and I love Gantz. Just really has no reason to exist

It's not really that much different from Gantz, you just have more nostalgia for his previous work

Gantz is decent sci-fi and I unironically liked the last arc.
They did my boy kitsune dirty with that Okinawa adaptation though.

Is it the one where the MC is a samurai that was seething at his love rival? I lost count of the 10000 gantz spin-offs that get axed or abandoned after 3 chapters

hard disagree. seems definitively like a cash grab with aimless and boring writing. also fuck you for suggesting people can't form their own opinions accurately- maybe you, like most people here, just suck dick at determining what's actually good and bad without being led by the nose yourself.
