One poker is insanely long, but it doesn't need to be. Most of its run was reaction shots and recap text of what happened in the last few chapters. In a proper adaptation, it'd be half as long as it was.

Correction - Konami is making bank on their series being all but solely mobile and pachinko games, but they don't have any involvement with Kaiji. The dozen machines that have been released are from other companies.

agreed but 26 episodes is a bit too short imo. i think 39 episodes are good enough to adapt three arcs. part 6 would need a whole separate season though.

when i was reading through one poker hen, i expected a dramatic death for kazuya, where he plummets down
for that to not happen, it took multiple chapters of interactions
since kazuya still hasn't appeared since that ending, he may as well be dead.
they shoud just write a conclusion where he actually does die
