yuta vs ryu

Man, Uro was such a hard and convenient counter to Ryu that I think Yuta could have lost if not for her. Like how could you even win against such a guy? He has a large amount of CE and the highest output in history. Yuta's strongest attack lost in a beam struggle against him and he can spam that stupid cannon of his non stop. CQC is no good since Yuta would get btfo'd like he did multiple times. The only thing Yuta could do is just drag the fight until Ryu runs out of CE which will take a long time if he decides to only use the cannon when necessary.

Yuta's strengths depends on the quality of his arsenal of copied techniques. Otherwise he's just a melee beast with a physical Stand. And since pretty much all the top guys are going to be good at melee, he's not as scary as he seems at the highest tiers of sorcerers, imo.
All that said, to be fair, Yuta WAS also holding back from going all out and killing Ryu/Uro. Its possible he had better options but chose not to use them because he didn't want to kill them.
Highest curse energy output is not necessarily the same as most destructive. Also, Ryu's output is not the highest of all sorcerers, Gege stated it was of the Players. Wouldn't be surprised to later learn Sukuna/Gojo still outdo him.

Halo purple is a literally tearing reality apart so I don't think it's really comparable to just normal beam spam.

Gojo uses CE mega efficiently he has less of it then even Yuta. So Ryu using more doesn't mean his attacks are stronger.
