Hopefully the whole cult of Sukuna thing gets coverage aswell and not just a mention. As a plot point I obviously really like when Geto hijacked the star vessel cult and turned it into his own for his grand curse free goal
However seeing how one sprung up naturally and began to worship him would be interesting aswell. Plus the questions it'd pose in the plot like whether such cult would reveer Yuji too or hate him, seeing him as a roadblock and so on.

And again, he would have needed to be some type of ruler (which I very much doubt he was) for much worship to happen. People back then were sheep, if their local lord told them to hate someone then they'd do it. They'd have zero incentive to bow to some wandering murder hobo that eats children and women.

That could even be a fun ending. Even if Sukuna were to be defeated show the process he endured to construct himself upto the "King of curses" level. The hardship and struggle, the break and rebirth of the mind that he endured. And essentially show another character who is part way for that process. Essentially implying that there will always be a Sukuna if the people will it.
