They couldn't even get the rules for a children's card game right, why bother with reality?
duelist kingdom used different rules. You're just used to post-battle city rules so duelist kingdom seems stupid.
Those cards are flimsy as fuck, no way a single card would stop a pistol hammer from firing.
Some faggot on /k/ showed that it works with real guns.
Been proved it works already, also anime cards are likely laminated.
Is this the video?

it's been proven to work though
people have tried it in real life with actual yu-gi-oh cards. it works.
depends on the kind of gun but yes it does work on some guns
Kaiba is such a good fucking character.
They had no fucking rules
The official card game didn't even exist until the battle city arc
>that filename
based, fuck media player war fags
Even if it works, how would you pull this stunt with a flimsy card made of paper?
It was a combination of factors.
>tcg didn't exist yet
>It was being a battle shonen before a card game.
As such you had many times the author did a "O MY SPRINKLER SYSTEMS". It's like they were fluctuating between pokemon (anime) vs pokemon (turn-based game).
>Since the game was new they were still trying things out, including flight mechanics. Not all of these mechanics made out in the end.
>The tcg either couldn't capture all these rules, decided not to or nerfed them for no reason (like slifer not having negating effects that obelisk does or nerfing ultimate moth).
>It used to be a manga with many different games, which still reflected a bit in some parts of dm.
With it being such a new game, with no official counterpart, they only had clearly set the rules written in the pic. Attacking position card battles defense card, etc. and that was all.
tl;dr the end result is they had no rules
I actually liked the early portions. Thy were fun
It works IRL and in the show they cards are obviously part plastic making it even more viable.
