I guess you could classify Shikimi as yandere, but if one character in Love Tyrant is "the" yandere it's definitely Akane. She's blatantly written to tick all the boxes for it. IMO Shikimi doesn't really fit because in the beginning when she's violent and crazy she isn't in love with Seiji, she just messes with him to piss off Akane. By the time she actually does have feelings for him she's mellowed out.

The reason harems are so shit is that they are actually romance stories/plotlines where there isnt any actual romance besides one-sided attraction from a bunch of girls towards an asexual faggot mc with glacial development. "Harem ending" doesnt actually subvert the most egrerious part of the harem, but early poly relationship and characters dealing with it does.
