Read the manga the anime only cover like the first 180~ chapters (It skips a lot too) it lefts out great arcs like Switch On. While also rushing the joining arcs of each member (Onihime got it the worse).

He has some range on his protagonist, Morihito is a stoic dude, Kanata was an absolute charismatic leader and Bossun was a goofball with a heart of gold.

Here, read the manga and it was good.
Hated the chapters with the weird teacher with the weird made-up games. Those were terribly boring.
Author also went woke towards the end with some travesti kid thing.

I will say this was better than Gintama in most aspects.
Gintama jokes either land at you from the beginning or you wont enjoy the series. With Sket Dance, there's more than just some dirty jokes thrown at you, so you are pretty much guaranteed some entertainment.

Watched anime when it was airing and read manga to see ending. Overall it was pretty solid. Don't remember much. That quiet guy flashback was pretty sad, though.
