Maximum was easily better than the anime, wolfwood´s final fight was incredible and made the way for a pretty good new character with a nice arc, vash and knives make sense here and even legato has an actual kickass final fight.
only problem is that it needs god tier animation, direction and budget to a level trigun has never had as an anime
