Helck

Finally took the time to read this, what a journey it was. Feels bad for missing the storytime

It was absolutely garbage after ch42.

I hope the anime is good. I'm so ever hopeful

I liked the genre shift and thought it did it well

Will of the Wod hands typed this post.

Started great but went to shit quickly.

How are you liking the sequel?

I'm on volume 5 it's great can't wait to see the end. Helck's backstory is filled with soul

It was a real journey, helck is a gem and the the story was consistently good till the end

So far Volundio has been carried by the strength of its main characters, with the actual plot and worldbuilding not being all that interesting. I really wish the official translation included the omakes, the manga feels noticeably diminished without them.

The Will of the World is a bitch ass pussy, and so are you.

Can't read 'cause kireicake is taking too long/dropped it and it's licensed by that predatory comikey service.

>Picked up Helck right at the climax where the gang meets the king
>The king brings up a dilemma which encompass the entire plot which justifies his actions
>Instead of ever addressing this point, the team did a persona4 and never directly tackling his proposed questions
>Then said guy convinently gets possessed by the big bad and the gang has to kill him
>Everything that was brought up was quickly swpt under the rug, never to be thought about again

It's just Fairytail without the self awareness. Glad I didn't have to follow this shitheap live.

>>Instead of ever addressing this point, the team did a persona4 and never directly tackling his proposed questions
It was Helck's choice, and he rejected it. King attacked them on his own immediately after, before becoming possessed.
>>Everything that was brought up was quickly swpt under the rug, never to be thought about again
Helck literally goes on journey to find the Contacted on his own and talk to them, arguing that if he could reject the Will thanks to his brother and friends being there, others could too. Are you retarded?

>Attacked first
Exactly, it's a copout. The author convinently avoid having Helck decide what to do with the king afterwards by making him attack and subsequently possessed. Outside of his own immediate self-interest, Helck never had to mull over what the king was trying to achieve and if it justifies his actions.

>Only Helck had a good upbringing, that's why he turned up well!
Mashima himself can't make it any sillies if he tried.

also read it this year. it was pretty good. anime when?

what's predatory about them?

if you aren't aware soon
