This was the most disappointing anime of 2021 for me because it clearly had a lot of potential with good animation, character design, audio design, and concept. But it fell apart from the lack of plot.
Takt Op. Destiny
i might be thinking of the wrong thing, but wasn't this bound by the fact it had to lead to a preexisting game or something? assuming im remembering correctly, not saying those cant ever work out well, but they seem to usually be pretty meh, i guess due to creative restrictions or a lack of passion or something.
Guilty Crown but terrible.
It was a gacha prequel, the goal of it was never to write a complete story but to set up the characters and the universe for the game.
It's just a shame nobody realized that until it was well underway.
I still enjoyed it. Those loud overwrought gacha character designs make the experience similar to watching ornate tropical birds or fish. Even if they just swim around or squawk it's still visually arresting.
Guilty Crown was one of the most rancid anime I've ever watched. Takt was a fucking masterpiece compared to it.
That's basically how I felt. The story was dull and mostly forgettable, but it was fun watching the brightly colored girls beat the shit out of monsters and sometimes each other.
Also Titan is for Wifan'.
ah so even worse than i thought.
honestly from what i saw for it, for basically just being an advertisement it was actually visually appealing if nothing else(which to be fair is obviously the point). but yeah dont expect to be wowed by something made for that goal.
Takt and Destiny were fun characters in the first half because they were both supremely autistic.
I want Hell to sit on my face.
Also Hell is a quivering sticky mass of sex stacked on a core of fear set into a casement of more sexuality.
It was boring but looked nice. Sex with Titan.
This is not a Hell thread.
It was just an ad for the gacha that's stuck in development hell
... because there are only so many pictures to post.
I will never install your stupid cellular mobile phone application.
It's not mine and I don't give a fuck what you do
Why are you describing Sakugan? Takt was more set up for failure being a gacha advert despite the good animation for the first two episodes
I watched Sakugan the same week as Takt and I have nearly the same opinion of it. It was unresolved.
Good news: you can't. The production for the gacha stalled and it will probably die within a year assuming it ever does get released.
I don't know what possessed them to air the anime while the game was so far from release.
this was the only character I was interested in
>tu-tone hair
>absurdly long hair
>sexy as fuck
>cool beauty
Tengoku was Best Girl and she got done dirty.
It's TIGHTAN not
>titan
Sakugan was such a let down. I wish they didn't make me hate every character, give the situations any stakes. It changed what it wanted to be every episode. Takt, as garbage as it was, stayed on course even if it was a downward spiral
