bro its the opposite, they conveyed it so well the music sounds tame in comparison. they hyped Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana so much, but when I actually hear them its not as exciting.

Nah, the combination of excellent art and choosing real songs for a lot of the performances means you can both visually and literally hear what is being performed to some degree. This makes the unique songs like JACK IN! work because you have faith in the actual skill of the players.

it's not only the licensing fees, but also those original songs that are supposed to be hits, some of them even capable of rivaling the classics, are not just tracks that you can will in existence by hiring composers and musicians, you need outstanding talent that is also caught in a moment of inspiration
