What's your favorite episode in Dragon Ball Z? What's your favorite episode in Dragon Ball Super? Tell me why you like it (or them of it's multiple episodes) the most, and how it influenced your way of looking at Dragon Ball. I say favorite, but it doesn't have to be your #1, just something that you really liked.
I'll start : For Dragon Ball Z, It's going to be episode 110-111. Those episodes contain little parts where you get to see what Bejita's doing in space. It really highlights how much he cared about seeing the Super Saiyan. After all, it was his dream to achieve the prophecy, and he finally got to see one, only for him to disappear soon after. Seeing him desperately seeking Goku and going on a murder spree in space by wiping the floor with Frieza's soldiers so he could get to see the Super Saiyan itself once more made me appreciate the character more, and it ties extremely well with episode 129, where you get to see a flashback of when Bejita gets to finally become a Super Saiyan. For Super, I'm going to go with the episode where you get to see Hit just doing his job. It's interesting to see people that aren't part of the main cast, they also do things that influence and shape the universe, and it's a breath of fresh air from always seeing just Goku and Bejita all the time, while also staying in the "relevant" territory (sorry, Piccolo, Gohan and the humans). I would really enjoy it if they just made more episodes like this, where you got to see some of the other strong fighters in their daily lives. Even if it's characters like Frieza.
You think I'm reading any of that, faggot? Basedpost about Jiren or shut up.

>Tienshinhan woke up in a dark room, restrained by metal clamps >He could only turn his head >He looked around but failed to figure where he was. All he knew was that he was underground. “Hello?! Is anyone there? Why am I here?” >He heard shuffling behind him and a dark, robed figure walked past him, turning on a dim light >Tien couldn’t believe who he saw. It was Gohan “Hello, Tienshinhan. Apologies for the restraints but I can’t have you moving around during my experiments.” “What is the meaning of this, Gohan? Let me go!” “I can’t let you go, after all you are the only 3-eyed human on earth! I need to study you, to research you. Boy, I’m getting excited just thinking about it! All I want to do is to check your eyeball and then I will let you go.” “Gohan, you bastard, LET ME GO!” “*sigh* You left me no choice.” >Gohan smacked Tien hard enough to knock him out, and soon got to work >Tien woke up once more, his head pounding. Though something was wrong with his vision, and then he remembered “GOHAN WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY 3RD EYE?” “Up already? Why don’t you see for yourself? >The room suddenly lit up brightly and before him, Tien saw his severed eye in a jar “MY EYE!!! WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME, GOHAN?! LET ME GOOO!” he roared. “Sorry about that Tien, I just saw your eye and HAD to research it. By the way it’s biologically identical to a normal eye, so it was a waste of time. As for your freedom… Just don’t try to fight me, I can’t have you destroying my lab” >Gohan opened all the clamps, letting him go >He gestured to the door, smiling sinisterly as he did so. “Go on, take your leave” >Tien ran towards the door but once he recognized what lay before him, he fell to his knees in defeat. “No… it can’t be…” “You may recognize this place now, Tienshinhan. I repurposed Doctor Gero’s lab.” >With tears in his eyes, Tien screamed, knowing he would never be able to open the door and escape
The episode where 16 dies, and it ends with Gohan's tears floating up with his newfound ki power, while the narrator describes Gohan's resolve to kill the bug.
Goku and Pan are flying off to do some training to celebrate completing their potty-training >They stop by a river in a nice open field "Alright Pan, this looks like a great spot to fight!" "Great grampa, let's GO!" Pan shouts as she launches herself at Goku, preparing a kick "Hey no fair! That was a cheap shot", he pouts and he easily deflects the attack as he chuckles. But this wasn't his usual chuckle. No. It was more sinister. "You left yourself too wide open, you can't defend yourself from attacks like that. Like this!" >He jabs her in her side. knocking her into the river bed. >She begins to scream in pain but before she can even make a peep, Goku has grabbed her and dunked her head under the water, a wide smile on his face as he does. "You didn't get your guard up fast enough. This training isn't very good, Pan. It's not very exciting" >Pan's screaming can be heard through the water, but it only works against her as water fills her lungs. "You know, turning super saiyan won't do much. I am still far stronger than you." Goku thought. >He chuckled as he held her head under the water "HEY! You should try and break out of this grip. This is getting boring for me." >The bubbles surfacing would dwindle in number, more and more until only ripples could be seen from the surface. >She no longer struggled. "Given up already?! Man, I shouldn't have wasted my time training you. This wasn't worth it at all. You know I turned down training with Whis on Beerus' planet for this and you can't even put up a good fight. What a shame. Let's go back." >He flung her limp corpse into the grass next to the river. "Wow you must really be tuckered out. And in all honesty I can't even feel your energy anymore. Have you really become this weak? I thought Piccolo trained you all the time. Anyway, let's go home." >He grabbed Pan's body by the hair and flew off back to Gohan's house, to drop her off.
