That's depressing, but I could see it. Even if it's become a bit aimless, there are still a lot of really cool moments sprinkled throughout. The series needs some more progression outside of Goblin Slayer being emotionally healed sort of kind of.

It was aimless from day one, people just cut the first couple of LNs slack because they think it's building up to something but it's not. There's no real plot to speak of, it's just the author came up with this idea of a character for a story but he forgot to come up with an actual story.
