Hard to tell as exactly 3 and a half people were aware of ARCANA when it was released. ARCANA overall has some very interesting designs apart from the horny ones and I really like the background art for it, too bad it was a Mobage out of all things and it barely lasted a year, and the only thing we have to show from it are its cards which I really wish were available in higher resolution. I haven't been able to find any footage of it being played anywhere on the internet to be fair with you.

I like her design. The oversized claws are neat. She looks great stradled across her bike and like a fish out of water off of it, which is really cute and pretty clever if intentional.

Same here. The fact that she shows up only TWICE in the original OVA got me so confused when I first watched but she instantly caught my eye. Wish we could get a series with the original cast in the hollow world just goofin' around and being badass without a real-world counterpart to develop drama, which is something that the BLACK ROCK CHAN! manga delivers but I would like to see such a concept in motion.

I haven't watched or read any other BRS media, but maybe that's why they put so much effort into making her work in this? To make up for her being sidelined in previous stuff?
I swear, every single episode that features Strength has had her do something with her hands that made me smile. They're just so much fun to watch move around.

While BRS and DeadMaster are clearly the catalysts of the franchise, Strength is just as much of a pillar as those two which is why she made it into DAWN FALL instead of Gold Saw (If you really want to cope you can say that Monica is inspired by BGS like Charlotte somewhat resembles Chariot). While part of me wants to say that she was indeed "sidelined" before it is a bit of a stretch as you could arguably say that Strength is the only reason why the 2012 anime's events happen at all seeing that (will spoiler this as you said you didn't watch anything else of the franchise and I recommend you do so, the 2012 anime is a mess drama-wise but an absolute banger when it comes to fights.) weren't for her to engage in combat with IBRS then BRS would've easily accomplished her subconscious goal of destroying the hollow world. Even if you exclude the old anime, she has always been in the other iterations of the franchise to some extent, with the most skewed presence of her being in the PSP game where she isn't present but, just like DeadMaster, parts of her design and personality shine through the new ones. All this rambling of mine apart, I 100% agree with you; She's the most fun part of DAWN FALL so far and I wish we had more of what we got in episode 5. DeadMaster turned into a brick after she was done being schizophrenic and Empress has always been a wall of her own so having Strength be more active with how she acts and talks has been more interesting, and this last part is also true to a degree about the 2012 anime.
