We're at episode 9 and Yor is still such a noncharacter. Unlike Twilight she have any presence in the story, she doesn't have deep interactions with Anya that are not stupid gags and above all we have not yet seen how she reconciles her life with work. She just seems an idealized waifu and nothing more.

The manga would need a different setting and different plot to be about a single father

Then again it is a gag show. Very disappointed to hear she doesn't develop at all, there was potential there ot make it a lot more interesting.
