It had a really rough start and I don't blame people for not sticking it out considering CCA essentially pretends it didn't happen anyway. I ended up liking it more than Zeta, which really felt like it was dragging its feet at about the 2/3 mark. I really liked how ZZ tried to make the universe more lived-in with OYW veterans still managing to get by with a bunch of Zaku IIs, or that widow kicking everyone's ass in a Gelgoog since Zeon fell before their military ever understood their full potential. Made it feel more like a consistent world rather than a toy commercial where everyone is constantly showing up with "new models" despite never having the chance to resupply. Judau was my favorite of the UC protags. Elle Vianno is best girl, and she pilots best mecha, the Gundam Mk.II.
