What are some western songs that you've heard in animé?
It's not too uncommon of course, there are obvious examples such Paripi Koumei covering that Hungarian pop song, Initial D licensing eurobeat. Some nips also plagiarize from time to time. What were some more out of left field songs that surprised you?
Recently I found out that a handful of Beatles songs from Magical Mystery Tour were covered on synthesizer and featured as BGM in Urusei Yatsura. I knew about Fool on the Hill but not the rest which were

I think it's likely the reason it hasn't had an English re-release, I read there's a show that has unlicensed music baked into the original audio masters with the dialogue and effects, which has made it literally impossible to clear
