Now it's finally over: is Wano the worst arc of One Piece ever so far?
Now it's finally over: is Wano the worst arc of One Piece ever so far?
Yes.
Yes.
dressrosa and fish island were worst.
Fish Island at least had the virtue of showing of completely new abilities and Dressrosa had a good final fight. Wano has neither.
Yes.
It would have been a mediocre arc if it skipped all the filler, but with all the atrocious filler - yes, it's the worst arc.
At the rate Oda is degrading, the next arcs are gong to be worse.
Yes.
It's not over. Trust the plan. Kaido will awaken and erupt out from the magma chamber, screen cap this
how can you get any worse? we're already fairy tail tier
Wano actually retroactively ruined what came before it on top of what's coming after.
Ain't no Whole Cake Island that's for sure
Wano is guano
the only thing that was lackluster for me was Luffy's attempts at Kaido
he should have not been knocked out, even once
I even think his first engagement was unnecessary
Kaido could have just killed him right there
Not better or worse than the other 20 years of filler.
Absolutely.
Wano also showed completely new abilities. It's just that none of them were good.
>Dressrosa had a good final fight
Wut?
Gear 4 was so disappointing, it was put off forever with stupid bullshit with bellamy and all of the other side characters, had some bullshit "run away while luffy recovers" bullshit when luffy has never been shown to be that weak after gear 4 after (he had to be carried like a sack of potatoes), justified luffy not being helped with fucking birdcage, stupid string awakening, it never explained why doflamingo suddenly forgot parasite string (even if you justify that luffy was "too strong" doflamingo could have used hundreds of characters against luffy), Doflamingo as a spoiled celestial dragon never felt justified being that strong, but THEN got upstaged by a cracker man the very next arc.
Other than that, nothing creative or clever happened, it was just "LOOK LUFFY IS PUNCHING EVEN FASTER AND HARDER!"
And it was still better than Wano.
the whole arc hinges on how emotionally invested you are in Oden and his story, the liberation of Wano and the struggle of the Scabbards all builds up on that
I never cared so little, I felt nothing when I saw grown up Momo and Kine'mon, Toko and Tama are just about the only characters that get any sort of feeling out of me, and even that's not much
The only time I cared less was in Punk Hazard
one of the best
I'd say its the most disappointing arc. I wouldn't go so far as to say its the worst especially when the Davy Back fight exists.
fpbp
spbp
cringe sneed
>I wouldn't go so far as to say its the worst especially when the Davy Back fight exists.
Davy back fight is the best arc, you are a faggot
I have had a passive interest in One Piece over the years, I think I read or watched it up to Enies Lobby. Is Wano really that bad? I checked a few chapters of it and it definitely seems to have a dull premise, and WAY too many characters.
We already did the 'asshole lords over an island' plot like 12 times already.
Now that the dust has settled is this the best nakama yet?
