How is this a seinen?
How is this a seinen?
It's not for little kids like shojo or shonen
I dunno man. I've watched every episode of the anime, and it feels like a shonen to me.
That's because you're still super immature and you're not ready to interpret more adult stories but on avery surface level
>for little kids
GinTama is for little kids? Death Note is for little kids? Rent A Girlfriend is for little kids?
It was published in a seinen magazine. That's always the answer.
shonen romcoms don't talk about societal dating habits because most shonen haven't even dated yet. Half the jokes in kauya bank on you comparing their situations to similar ones that you've been through (like an awkward movie date for example)
A better question is then:
do the Japanese know what seinen means?
yeah but why would they choose this to be in a seinen magazine? That's ultimately what the question is trying to get at.
You're embarrassing yourself. I hope this is in jest.
It's published in a seinen magazine.
I think of 12-15 year olds as kids yes
Being edgy is not a requirement to be in a seinen magazine
Soap operas are for older men.
Back in my day, seinin was for adults. Vagabond, Vinland Saga, the list goes on.
And K-on
Yeah, Like Working! or Himouto
12-15 year old kids don't watch GinTama, Death Note, and RaG. They watch MHA, Demon Slayer, and One Piece.
it's in a seinen magazine
To be fair you need an extremely high degree of maturity to understand Death Note
12-15 year olds in 2006 were definitely watching Death Note
So just an average rom com?
Oh it's definitely for teenagers (like most rom coms). You're just taking the tags too seriously.
