The anime became good at the ending. Whats up with that?

Three volumes per year, consistently in the top 20 light novel franchise sale list every month even though year 1 and year 2 are counted separately. Got a second and third season announced within two weeks of each other. It's popular enough for my taste. Popularity attracts retards and there are already more than enough of those in the fandom.
Read the synopsis and give the anime a try. A lot of people are turned off by the first episode.

Unfortunately, I failed to understand why other similar shows are becoming popular, despite how terrible they are, so I can't explain why this one didn't.
