These tags are bullshit and inconsistent from website to website because they're literally just made up on the spot by book stores and websites based on their own judgements.
When people actually say “Nooo, it's not this tag, but this tag, because I read it here!” I roll my eyes. It's like they actually think it's some kind of objective hard fact because it's a Japanese word while it's no more hard than trying to determine of English novels whether they are for young adults or teenagers or for boys or girls.
The same magazine and title will be tagged as different things depending on the bookstore you're visiting, and most magazines clearly target a very wide age and gender range to begin with.
