Hunter x Hunter

Is Chrollo a shit leader?

Attached: 51_-_Chrollo_smiling.png (1280x720, 578.48K)

>can't prevent the death of his teammates
>submits to Kurapika's demands
>can't negotiate or strategize
>lets his teammates do whatever they want with no repercussions, has obvious downsides
>mostly speaks in cryptic, meaningless phrases
>no good motive to even be a villain

Not just a shit leader, he's a shit character.

I think he's not a good leader. It gets carried by all the other members.

>I need to find the chain bastard
>No. We're leaving.
>We need to find the chain bastard
>No. We're leaving
Instead he let meathead retards take over.

God I hope Hisoka kills off the entire phantom troupe. That's what this emo faggot deserves.

He should die of some Dark Continent disease

Do these have shitty paper quality? wiki says they're the same as the original but cheaper. Doesn't make any sense

Hisoka lost

>All known #4 members, including the non-canon one, Omokage, have proven themselves treacherous or to have hidden agendas.

uhh kalluto bros?

>Uvo dies
>Try to get revenge
>Fuck up and get captured
>Pakunoda has to sacrifice herself to save his dumb ass
>Has a fight with Hisoka
>Having potentially infinite abilities Chrollo decides to use two of his own members, leaving them defenseless
>They are also the members that are going to make sure Hisoka is dead
>When Hisoka is obviously not dead, he kills the two defenses spiders (who could have seen that one coming!)
>Get on the ship to try and kill Hisoka
>Let Hisoka's boyfriend join as a spider (really? REALLY??????)
>Instantly split up and letting everyone do whatever they want, instead of having a strategy or using his brain to come up with a plan for once in his life
He is so bad bros, when you start analyzing him more deeply it's hard to take this retard seriously

he already said he wants to get his brother (presumably Killua) back so that's probably the only reason he joined the Ryodan in the first place, though idk how joining them will help him accomplish his goal

>>Let Hisoka's boyfriend join as a spider (really? REALLY??????)
This one will be even funnier if it turns out Illumi there actually was Hisoka all along, masking his appearance with Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise.

Get Killua back from whom? I legitimately forgot.

He just wants to get Killua back home in general, he's envious of Alluka so I'm assuming he probably looks up to Killua

Would he respect Killua's decision if he tells him he doesn't want to go back to that hellhole again?

It depends on how indoctrinated he is. From the little we see of him as a character he doesn't seem to be a total psychopath like Illumi, his sadistic side side is likely a result of his training much like Killua was at the beginning of HxH

Why does the entire family love killua so much?
The entire family revolves around him it seems like.
The only one who doesn't have killua as his favorite is the fat one

I think Kalluto would have noticed, plus Togashi isn't the type of mangaka or writing something that obvious.

b-but the hunterbros told me hxh has smart characters

not before raping machi's pink pussy

I mean they all see him as the successor to the family business, he's literally the most talented Zoldyck ever and will likely become one of the strongest nen users in the world when he grows up. He's also really endearing despite being kind of an asshole

He has the most potential out of all the Zoldycks in history as far as I remember. Makes sense that his family would want to keep him to themselves and avoid outside influences.

So I've never read Hunter x Hunter but I want to get into it.
I've been told the manga is much better to read... But I just... I've watched the 2011 anime, and stopped in the middle of the exam.
How does it really get better?
What is so good about this manga?
I've talked to a fan that thinks it's a real masterpiece, but I don't really see it. Sure Hisoka seems a weirdo but Gon... My god, I don't really like the designs of the characters that much.
Is it still worth the journey?

Each Zoldyck generation has one wonder kid, signaled by its white hair.

He's literally retarded and that's why all his friends will die. Why did he even let Illumi join?

This is just my opinion:
Hunter exam arc is better in the 1999 anime, 2011 butchered it. In fact 1999 is better overall.
Gon is the most boring character in the entire story. I consider this series a masterpiece because of all other characters and the worldbuilding. Gon is just the plot device that connects them all.

if you don't like then don't force yourself to watch/read it

He's basically the son that the father has the highest hopes for reminds him of himself the most so all his other children are basically just side projects/tools to him and not actual successors to being head of the family, everyone else knows who the favorite child is and reacts differently, he's also naturally amicable and independent which is a very leader like trait whilst holding the most favor of both patriarchs of the family, naturally all his siblings current and future place in the family gravitates around him
