And even if it ends up being a good anime, it will probably still feel less unique than the manga, just like the trailer, looked good but boring when you compare it with the feel of the manga.

Maybe they don't want to take many risks with CSM when it comes to presentation and style and so on. Like, they clearly want to sell the fuck out of Chainsaw Man. Which is kind of sad, because with Chainsaw Man one can take a lot of liberties with the style the colors and all that stuff, going for the safest approach is just boring.
